About the Programme

The M.Phil Chemistry is an advanced research degree that combines postgraduate coursework in the first year with an original research thesis in the second year. Students are assigned a supervisor from the School's faculty and work within one of the six academic sections on a research problem aligned with the section's active research agenda.

Coursework covers advanced topics in chemical research methodology, specialised subject areas, and scientific communication. Candidates who complete the programme with distinction are well-positioned to proceed to PhD study in Pakistan or internationally.
