The Faculty of Science at the University of the Punjab is one of the largest and most dynamic academic units of the University, comprising one department, one school, one college, two institutes, and two centres. It serves as the cornerstone of the University's academic and administrative framework, overseeing all matters pertaining to science education, research, and policy development.

The Dean's Office is entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities, including the preparation of proceedings for various committee meetings, formulation of reports on policy matters, and execution of other duties assigned by the Vice-Chancellor. The Office also ensures effective coordination and communication with all relevant stakeholders across the University.

English is the medium of instruction for all programmes offered under the Faculty of Science.
